David Cassian Cole/Brother Cassian
David Cassian is the author of the course, he is the founder of Waymark Ministries and the Executive Director. David Cassian has written numerous books on the topic of Celtic Christianity and regularly speaks at events and conferences in the UK and internationally on the subject. He is the UK Deputy Guardian of The Community of Aidan & Hilda, a Celtic inspired globally dispersed New Monastic Community. David Cassian wrote the thesis for his Masters' degree on how historic Celtic Christianity can inform New Monastic ideas on discipleship.
Simon Reed
Simon is an Anglican minister in West London with 25 years’ experience of local church ministry. He is also one of the three Guardians of the international Community of Aidan and Hilda, a Celtic inspired New Monastic community. He holds degrees in English and Theology from the University of Oxford, and an M Phil in Biblical Studies from the University of London.
He is the author of two books on contemporary Celtic Christianity, Creating Community (BRF 2013) and Followers Of The Way (BRF 2017), and has also written Bible notes for both Scripture Union and Bible Reading Fellowship.
Simon is married with a family. He is a hill-walker, climber and mountaineer, and actively supports Tranmere Rovers FC.
